Lac de Montbel
Lac Montbel is over 1200 acres in size, it is manmade and nestles at an altitude of over 400 meters above
mean sea level. The clear rich water has produced carp over 50 lbs. Best spots tend to be from the
lake islands. The current lake record stands at over 55 lbs. Night fishing is allowed all year,
it is not an easy venue and good location and effort is needed to locate the larger specimens. It is a venue
that is suited to the pioneering angler, carp over 60 lbs are rumored!
