Nightfishing is allowed a many stetches of the River Allier, so many that it is impossible to list them all. There are good carp in the river, maize and boilies work well. Seek advice from the local tackle shops for current night zones.

Kids matches are organised on this lake, this is normally an indication of a heavily stocked venue.
Lac de Roanne near Saint Clément
No nightfishing is allowed on this lake, although there are camp sites on its banks. I have been informed that boats are required to reach the best swims.
